Pop star Oliver Sim is the main guest of a talk show in this trilogy about fear and some of its most fantastical embodiments. The conversation slowly drifts into a surreal journey of love, shame, and blood. Hideous is an enchanting homage to 1980s B movies and also a romantic, trashy musical. It is equal parts sensitive and brutal, boasts an impressive aesthetic, and concludes with a raucous collage full of lust and desire.
